Carpe Diem

Time is what we want most, but what we use worst.

-William Penn

Time is precious we all know, but it seems we never have enough of it. This year I felt crazy rushed for Christmas, and I don’t have a lot to do for the holiday. I have been reading about ways to make better use of my time, and to use it more wisely. I really need to return to my workout schedule which has really slipped these past few weeks. I found this quote at LifeOptimizer, and there are quite a few other good ones as well. Of course, I often wonder how well my time is spent by posting quotes that are already available.
Though it does provide me some time to consider the day, and maintain my motivation about the upcoming day, or reflect on the day that has past. As always, I am grateful for friendships all through the year. My friends Sue B. and Linda S. have been particularly helpful during this year of consistent change, so a special thank you. I have already told them I am grateful for their friendships — of course, now it is memorialized in a blog. LOL.
Also, I can’t believe it is almost 2019. Back in the 1980s, I think movies used dates like like 2019 and 2020 in sci-fi movies, and now I am living in it. Hard to believe, but true. Where did the time go. I feel like today’s quote is so true — I often feel like I have wasted way too much time. Better start spending it more wisely!!
